Solfa Songs You Didn't Learn in Elementary School

I felt my sanity slipping away, hearing Bee Bee Bumble Bee one more time and I was going to lose my mind…

I’d already tried every mi so song and mi so la song Google could find, even the ones I hated!

So, I wrote a song about Ketchup. I asked my classes what food you should never put Ketchup on and we used their ideas to write a rhythmic ostinato. They laughed, I laughed, we laughed some more and my grade 1 students insisted they sing it for their teachers.

I wrote another song, then another… until I’d written a year’s worth of mi so and mi so la songs for my Primary and grade 1 classes:

Solfa Songs You Didn’t Learn in Elementary School

I’m giving it away to a few elementary music teachers in exchange for your feedback so I can improve the collection before publishing it.
